Bishop Loughlin comes back to stun Christ the King 73-63

Keith Williams scored 27 of his game-high 29 points in the second half, as Bishop Loughlin erased a 10 point deficit at the end of the third quarter, outscoring Christ the King 28-8 in the fourth and capping an impressive 73-63 comeback win in Middle Village on Saturday. Christ the King led by double digits for most of the first three quarters, but Loughlin closed the gap in the fourth, behind Williams' 16 points in the final quarter.  Loughlin finally tied the game at 58 when Williams pulled-up from NBA range and nailed a 3-pointer with a little over three minutes to go. Loughlin took the lead for good when Williams made a jumper in the lane on the next possession, putting Loughlin ahead 60-58. Markquis Nowell had 13 points and Jordan Thomas had 10 points for Loughlin. Jared Rivers had 20 points and Jose Alvarado had 19 points for Christ the King.  Bishop Loughlin improves to 3-0 in CHSAA league play and 7-2 overall. Christ the King falls to 6-2, all in CHSAA league play.
