Reggie Outlaw had 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead LaSalle to a 69-55 comeback win over Salesian in a CHSAA B Division boys basketball showdown in the East Village on Monday. Salesian took a 33-28 lead into the half on Xavier Tellez's buzzer-beating 3-pointer, but LaSalle rallied in the third quarter behind Outlaw, Bryce Council and Traigan James, pulling ahead 46-42 heading into the fourth. After Salesian cut the deficit to 55-52 on Jorge Perdomo's layup off a pretty assist from Anthony Mitchell with 5:11 to play, LaSalle closed the game on a 14-3 run to win going away. Council had 16 points and James had 16 points for LaSalle. Anthony Mitchell had 15 points for Salesian. LaSalle, currently ranked 23rd in New York State Class B, is now 7-1 in CHSAA league play and 14-3 overall, while Salesian is 6-3 and 10-9.
