Keith Williams had 16 points to lead Bishop Loughlin over Xaverian 57-42 in a CHSAA Brooklyn-Queens AA match up in Brooklyn on Friday night. Loughlin outscored Xaverian 16-5 in the first quarter before Xaverian closed the deficit to 25-19 at the half, with Zack Bruno scoring seven of his 14 points in the second quarter. Loughlin pulled away again in the second half, as Williams scored 11 of his 16 points and Markquis Nowell, returning from an ankle injury, scored six. Xaverian was just 8-21 from the free throw line in the game. Loughlin is now 4-1 in CHSAA league play and 8-3 overall and Xaverian is 2-3 in CHSAA league play and 6-4 overall.
