Xavier Tellez had 18 points and Alex Romans had 14 points to lead Salesian to a 59-43 win over Regis in the CHSAA B Division Semifinals at Holy Cross on Sunday. After trailing Regis 20-12 at the end of the first, Salesian held Regis to just three points in the second quarter and took a 26-23 lead at the half. After holding a 39-34 lead at the end of the third, Salesian pulled away in the fourth, outscoring Regis 20-9 in the quarter, with Romans scoring 7 of his 14 points in the final frame. Salesian will face Sacred Heart in the CHSAA B Division Championship Game on Friday night at Fordham University. Sean Jennings had 10 points for Regis.
