The win was even more impressive considering Bowne played without standout guard Tyshawn Trail, who was sidelined with an injury.
The Wildcats figure to draw a favorable seed in the upcoming PSAL playoffs, going 14-2 in regular season league play, with both losses coming to Cardozo, who finished the regular season with a perfect overall record of 24-0. The Judges dropped their first postseason game to Construction 86-69 in the Quarterfinals on Tuesday, in what was likely the biggest upset of the season in New York City high school basketball. QHST reached the final by defeating Construction 70-60 in the Semifinals on Thursday.
