Tyshawn Trail scored 29 points, as John Bowne remained unbeaten and improved its league record to 6-0 with a 76-53 road win over Francis Lewis in Queens on Thursday.
Both teams entered the game with a perfect league record of 5-0 atop the PSAL Queens AA Division, but Bowne raced out to a 15-0 lead, and Francis Lewis was unable to recover from that early deficit.

The Patriots called for time and tried to regroup after a 3-pointer by Trail and a put-back by Mouhamed Dioubate put Bowne ahead 10-0, but the Wilcats rattled off five more points before Francis Lewis finally got on the board.
Trail scored 14 first quarter points, as Bowne took a 25-12 lead at the end of the first frame and held a 40-26 advantage at the half.
Trail tacked on another 10 points in the third, and Bowne's lead ballooned to 48-28 after a driving score by Dioubate with 4:40 left in the quarter.

Amadou Diallo added 16 points and Dioubate finished with 11 for Bowne. Davian Hall scored 12 points and Elijah Pratt had 11 for Francis Lewis.
The Wildcats will face another unbeaten foe when they host Cardozo next Tuesday. The Judges improved their league record to 5-0 after defeating Springfield Gardens 85-54 on Thursday.
