Cahiem Brown had 30 points to lead Abraham Lincoln to a 87-77 win over rival Thomas Jefferson in the Brooklyn Borough Championship game at York College in Queens on Sunday. After Lincoln took a 33-18 lead into the half, it looked like Jefferson would fight its way back into the game when the Orange Wave opened the second half on a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to 33-25. But Lincoln came right back after a timeout and pushed the lead to 58-40 at the end of the third, behind Brown, Selassie Bourne and Kclejuan Ferguson. Despite putting up 37 points in the fourth quarter and getting a game-high 33 points from Rasheem Dunn, Jefferson came up short in its bid for a second consecutive Brooklyn Borough title. There were four technical fouls called in the second half, three of them whistled against Jefferson. Lincoln looked very sharp on offense in this game and appears to be peaking at the right time heading into the PSAL playoffs.
