Tamer Tamer had 17 points to lead Maspeth over Pace in the PSAL B Division Boys Basketball Showcase in the Bronx on Saturday. Maspeth led 25-20 at the half and had stretched the lead to 42-26 midway through the third quarter before Pace stormed back after going with a full court press and eventually took a 48-47 lead with 4:40 to play in the fourth. Maspeth fought back by attacking the press and making free throws down the stretch to seal the 56-51 win. Aliou Cisse had 17 points for Pace.
