Kristina Krslovic and Faith Hernandez each had 12 points to lead Monsignor McClancy to a 71-30 win over St. John's Prep in a CHSAA Division II girls basketball game in Astoria on Friday night. After leading 13-5 at the end of the first quarter, McClancy stetched the lead to 31-14 at the half and outscored St. John's Prep 27-8 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. McClancy had seven 3-pointers and every player on McClancy's roster scored in the game. McClancy, currently ranked 12th in New York State Class B, is now 8-0 in CHSAA league play.
