Wings Academy, currently ranked 2nd in New York State, survived a scare and defeated WHEELS 56-49 in a PSAL AA Division boys basketball match-up in the Bronx on Thursday night. Wings trailed WHEELS 30-23 at the half, but rallied in the second half to take a 40-36 lead at the end of the third and hold on for the 56-49 win. Kevin Saylor and Jose Perez had 16 points each for Wings, who remains undefeated in PSAL league play. Emilio Cerda, Pierre Jones and Morrisana Camara each had 11 points for WHEELS.
